Eating Gluten Free in Dublin, April 2023

It has been such a long time since I have posted anything here in my travel section. I never go anywhere anymore. It can be hard keeping up with life from being a full time mum, baker and blogger. Life just takes over, but I love it. When I do finally go somewhere it ends up being even more exciting.

Dublin Trip April 2023 - Eating Gluten Free in Dublin

Christmas 2022 my sister got me a gift.  A wee trip down to Dublin to see a concert. I had an amazing time and of course I ate lots of Delicious Gluten Free Food. We stayed at the Arlington Hotel on Bachelors Walk, O’Connell Bridge, Dublin 1

So first up when we arrived we had to wait another 2 hours before we could check in at our hotel. So we went to a place called Flanagan’s for lunch. This was located at 61 O’Connell Street Upper, North City, Dublin 1. I just had a chicken salad sandwich with a bowl of soup. I know a bit boring but soup and a sandwich just hits different with me. 😋

After that we went and got checked into our hotel then had to rush off again as we had booked a fun activity. We went and done a panic room. I highly recommend doing this. It was so much fun, and there are loads of places in the area that does them.

So dinner time then we went to Milano which I was so excited about as they have so much gluten free options including pizza and pasta. I ordered some Halloumi and a Creamy Parmesan Pasta which was sooo delicious. 😋 Of course we drank way too much wine while we where here. 🍷

So we had not booked breakfast with the hotel as we thought it would be so much better to go else where to try a few different places. First place we had gone for breakfast was a place called Murphys which was right next to our hotel so it was super handy. I got the Eggs Benedict. This is something I wouldn’t normally go for but it was well worth it and so tasty. 😋

So after this we went to the 3 arena for the early merch shop. When we got back to our hotel we where in such a rush that we got ready and just decided to go back to Murphys for dinner. I thought as their breakfast menu was so good for gluten free that it would be just as good for dinner but I was wrong. All they could do up for me was a Caeser Salad with out the croutons. 😔 After this we headed off to see the one and only Paramore in the 3 Arena. It was the best evening everrrrr. 😄 I could sit writing about the concert all day but that is not what this post is about.

Next morning I looked up on google some places that are great for gluten free breakfast and I came across this place called The Lemon Jelly Cafe – Millennium Walkway, North City, Dublin 1. We did have to wait a couple of minutes for a table as it was very busy but we just seen that as a good sign. I ordered the Vegetarian breakfast. It was Delicious.
