✨ One of My Very First Recipes
This is actually one of the very first recipes I ever made, long before the girls were even born. Darragh was only about 3 at the time, and I still remember how excited he was watching me mix everything together, and even more excited trying to grab a brownie before they had properly cooled. It’s one of those simple recipes that has stuck with me ever since.

Back then, I was just starting out in the kitchen, trying to recreate easy treats without overcomplicating things. When I came across this recipe, I couldn’t believe something so simple could turn into such a rich, chocolatey bake. It quickly became a go-to in our house, especially on those days when you want something homemade but don’t have the time or energy for a long list of ingredients.
🍫 You Don’t Even Need Nutella
What I love most about these brownies is how forgiving they are. You don’t need anything fancy, and it doesn’t even have to be Nutella. Any jar of chocolate spread works perfectly here, including the cheaper own-brand versions from the supermarket. They still give you that same soft, fudgy texture and delicious chocolate flavour, making this recipe both budget-friendly and incredibly convenient.
It’s honestly the perfect recipe for those “there’s nothing in the cupboards” moments. Chances are you already have everything you need sitting in your kitchen right now.

😍 Soft, Fudgy and Completely Addictive
Over the years, I’ve made these more times than I can count, and they’ve never let me down. They come out with that perfect balance between fudgy and slightly cakey, depending on how long you bake them. Warm from the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or left to cool and sliced into squares for an easy treat, they’re always a hit.
It’s funny how some of the simplest recipes end up being the ones you come back to the most. This is definitely one of those, and even now, with three kids, it’s still one of the quickest ways to get something sweet on the table without any stress.

Gluten-Free 3 Ingredient Nutella Brownies
These 3 ingredient Nutella brownies are rich, fudgy and incredibly easy to make. A quick gluten free dessert ready in under 30 minutes.

Preheat your oven to 180°C / 350°F / Gas Mark 4.

Line or grease a 9 x 9 inch square tin.

Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl.

Mix until smooth and fully combined.

Pour into your prepared tin and spread evenly.

Bake for 18 minutes, or until a skewer comes out with a few fudgy crumbs.

Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
Notes
- Don’t overbake — they firm up as they cool.
- For extra indulgence, serve warm with ice cream.
- You can add chocolate chips or chopped hazelnuts for texture.
- If your Nutella is thick, warm it slightly to make mixing easier.
