If there’s one way to make bacon even better, it’s by adding a touch of maple sweetness! This maple candied bacon takes everything you love about crispy, savory bacon and coats it in a rich, caramelized layer of maple syrup. The result is an irresistibly sweet and salty treat that’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even as a snack on its own. With just a few ingredients and a little bit of oven time, you’ll have a delicious twist on classic bacon that’s hard to resist!
Maple candied bacon has a wonderful balance of flavours—each bite combines the deep, earthy sweetness of maple syrup with the smoky, savory goodness of bacon. As it bakes, the maple syrup thickens and caramelizes, creating a glaze that adds a beautiful crunch to the bacon strips. This recipe is ideal for anyone who loves a mix of sweet and savory flavors, and it’s so easy to make that it feels like a gourmet upgrade to regular bacon with minimal effort.
Whether you’re looking to impress guests at brunch or simply want a special treat for yourself, this maple candied bacon fits the bill.
