Hot Honey Halloumi (Gluten-free & Vegetarian-friendly)
If you’re looking for something quick, savoury, and just the right kind of spicy, my Hot Honey Halloumi is a must-try! This recipe is ridiculously easy to throw together and gives you that golden, crispy halloumi with a sweet and fiery glaze that clings beautifully to every bite.

Halloumi is already a fan favourite in my house, especially with my Isla and Willow picking at the golden crust straight out of the pan! But adding a homemade hot honey drizzle takes it to the next level, sticky, spicy, and totally addictive.

This dish is perfect as a light lunch or appetiser. I love serving it over a bed of fresh crisp lettuce, which balances out the richness of the halloumi. Plus, the heat from the honey softens the greens ever so slightly, it’s simple but magic.

You only need a few ingredients for this one, and I bet most are already in your kitchen. The hot honey is made from scratch with just honey, chilli flakes, and a splash of vinegar, no fuss, just flavour.

Whether you’re cooking for yourself or serving a crowd, this hot honey halloumi always gets devoured. It’s gluten free, vegetarian-friendly, and endlessly customisable. Try it with rocket, baby spinach, or even tucked into a warm gluten free wrap.

Trust me, once you try it, you’ll be drizzling hot honey on everything. This is comfort food with a little kick, and it’s guaranteed to become your new favourite too!
