Gluten Free Toblerone Brownies

Serves: 9 brownies
Ingredients
  • 90g/3/4 cups Gluten Free Self Raising Flour
  • 50g ⅓ cups cocoa powder
  • 200g/1 cup butter
  • 200g/ 1 cup milk/dark chocolate (I used a mix of both)
  • 3 eggs
  • 280g/ 1¾ cups granulated sugar
  • 100g/ ½ cup chopped toblerone
  • 6 mini toblerone bars or 6 pieces of a large bar for decorating
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 160C Fan/180C/Gas 4 and prepare a 9x9'' square tin with non-stick baking paper.
  2. Melt together your butter and chocolate in a microwave until completely melted.
  3. Sieve together your cocoa powder and gluten free flour in a bowl. Mix until combined, then put to one side.
  4. In another bowl add your eggs and pour in your sugar. Beat together until combined.
  5. Next fold in the your flour and cocoa powder mix. Ensure it's fully folded in.
  6. Once the chocolate and butter mixture is cooled to room temp, pour it into your mixture. Fold until combined.
  7. Fold in your chopped toblerone pieces.
  8. Pour your brownie mixture into your prepared tin.
  9. Bake for about 25 mins. Your brownies will still wobble a little as they set more as they cool.
  10. Remove from the oven and immediately top your brownies with some toblerone pieces.
  11. Allow to completely cool before removing from the tin and cutting into squares.
