Gluten Free Belgian Chocolate Brownies
- ½ cup/100g Sugar
- ½ cup/100g Gluten Free Self Raising Flour
- ⅓ cup/90g Cocoa Powder
- 2 Eggs
- 1tsp Vanilla essence
- ⅓ cup/90g Butter
- ½ cup/ 100g Belgian Chocolate Bar/Chips
- Extra Belgian Chocolate for Sprinkling
- Preheat oven to 350F/180C/Gas 4.
- Prepare a 9x9" pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a medium pot over low heat combine the belgian chocolate and butter, stir occasionally until smooth and melted. Remove from the heat.
- In a mixing bowl add sugar eggs and vanilla and stir till combined.
- Add cocoa powder and flour and stir until combined.
- Fold the melted chocolate into the batter until all is combined.
- Spread mixture evenly into your prepared pan and sprinkle the top with your chocolate chips.
- Bake for approx 15 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean with just a few fudgy crumbs.
- Cool completely then slice into squares.
