Gluten Free Belgian Chocolate Brownies

  • ½ cup/100g Sugar
  • ½ cup/100g Gluten Free Self Raising Flour
  • ⅓ cup/90g Cocoa Powder
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1tsp Vanilla essence
  • ⅓ cup/90g Butter
  • ½ cup/ 100g Belgian Chocolate Bar/Chips
  • Extra Belgian Chocolate for Sprinkling
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F/180C/Gas 4.
  2. Prepare a 9x9" pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  3. In a medium pot over low heat combine the belgian chocolate and butter, stir occasionally until smooth and melted. Remove from the heat.
  4. In a mixing bowl add sugar eggs and vanilla and stir till combined.
  5. Add cocoa powder and flour and stir until combined.
  6. Fold the melted chocolate into the batter until all is combined.
  7. Spread mixture evenly into your prepared pan and sprinkle the top with your chocolate chips.
  8. Bake for approx 15 minutes or until a skewer comes out clean with just a few fudgy crumbs.
  9. Cool completely then slice into squares.
