Gluten Free American Style Pancakes

Ingredients
  • 1 cup Gluten Free Plain Flour (I always Use Doves Farm)
  • 2 tsp Gluten free Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • Honey and a Banana to Serve
Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. Whisk in milk, oil egg and vanilla just until batter is moistened.
  2. Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-low heat. Spray with non-stick cooking spray. Scoop about ½ cup of pancake batter onto the skillet.
  3. When bubbles begin to appear on the surface, flip carefully with a spatula and cook until lightly browned on the underside, 1 to 2 minutes more.
  4. Serve with a drizzle of honey and a sliced banana
